Artist Statement:

I am a painter and illustrator interested in creating surreal narratives based on spirituality and humor.  Greatly inspired by the Pahari school of Painting in Northern India, the artist Nainsukh, and the illustrative work of Goya and William Blake, I have been working on a series of miniature paintings using techniques formulated in Persia and then later adapted in Rajasthan, the Himalayan foothills, and the Gangetic plain.  I am interested in the precision of line, the weight of subject matter, and the ethos of what I deem as spiritually driven.
